Withania is one of my ultimate favourite herbs for Mummas, women and well tired, overworked and exhausted everyone. It is grounding and restorative. It helps how your body adapts to stress. Withania is an adaptogenic herb, meaning that it supports how our body adapts to stress, making us more resilient and supporting the whole process so we are able to deal with stress in a more positive way.
Cinnamon, nutmeg and turmeric are all delicious warming spices. They are both warming to the digestive system but also the reproductive system as well.
The combination of the three herbs, alongside the Withania makes this little cup of magic perfect to add into your evening routine. Shower, get in your comfortable cozy clothes and wrap yourself in a blanket. Sip slow and nourish.
1 mug of nut milk something creamy like cashew milk or macadamia milk
1/2 teaspoon withania powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
Honey to taste
1. Over a low heat warm the milk and add in all the spices and honey.
