Wild Dandelion Green Smoothie

This morning I was craving a delicious green smoothie, and where we are housesitting there are fields of fresh (pollution free) dandelions! Really they are everywhere! And stinging nettles but I haven’t quite braved up to touch them 😉

If you are going to wild harvest your kitchen ingredients besure to pick them from a very VERY clean area and wash them throughly before eating. Also it goes without saying besure what you are picking is edible!

This smoothie is a light but creamy that will help keep you full and nourished. I left out a sweeter this morning, as I feel the banana provides enough sweetness.

This recipe is Raw, Gluten free, Dairy free, Soy free, Sugar free, Wild, Paleo, Vegan 
I N G R E D I E N T S 

1 frozen banana
1/4 ripe avocado
Handful of wild dandelion leaves (washed and picked from a clean area)
Handful of spinach (optional)
10 almonds
1 tablespoon sunflower seeds
1 teaspoon chia seeds
2 cups milk of choice

M E T H O D

1. Place all ingredients into a high performance blender and enjoy straight away!
