POMEGRANATE GUMMIES

There is very rarely a week where you won’t find gummies in our fridge, the kids (and us if we are being honest) are obsessed! So if we are going to have them, let’s pack them full of benefits!

I love the bitter and antioxidant components of pomegranate juice! For kids, it’s a great addition as it keeps those flavours present which then helps to open more doors to other flavours! But by adding in vitamin c as well it means we are boosting the immune support and making them a little sour at the same time 👍🏼👍🏼

My 4 year old made this batch, they are that easy to do!

I N G R E D I E N T S
2 cups 100% pure pomegranate juice
4-5 tablespoons pure gelatin powder
1 serves ascorbic acid powder (not essential but increases vitamin c and adds sour flavour)

M E T H O D
1. Add the juice to a small saucepan
2. Mix in the gelatin powder, and mix well until it blooms. It should look similar texture to apple sauce
3. Place pan over a low heat and allow the warmth to melt back into a liquid
4. Place into a heat proof dish, or if you want to get fancy, place into moulds
5. Into the fridge until set
