I recently used Teresa Cutter – The Healthy Chef delicious health lamington recipe to create these scrumptious Cinnamon Dusted Doughnuts.
The trick I used to create these simple delights was to use a piping bag and pipe the mixture into the single doughnut rings – this helped with the shape of the doughnuts as the texture of the batter is slightly different to its gluten-rich counterparts.
For a simple cinnamon dusting, once the doughnuts are removed from the oven and sprinkle with a mixture of 1 part cinnamon and 3 parts coconut sugar. By doing this why the doughnuts are still warm you get this delicious and topping. NOTE: moderation is key here – because we all know how delicious coconut sugar can be!
