Walnuts are packed FULL of good fats, important for healthy brain development – If we look at the Doctrine of Signatures (Linking what foods look like different body parts) the walnut looks very similar to a human brain!
The Cacao is also giving you a nice boost of Antioxidants, the rich chocolate flavour makes this fudge extra scrumptious
This recipe is Gluten free, Dairy free, Grain free, Paleo, Raw, Vegan, Refined sugar free, Rich in good fats and Antioxidants
INGREDIENTS
1 cup organic walnuts
1/4 cup almonds
1/2 cup raw organic cacao powder
1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
1/4 tsp vanilla powder
a pinch of macro-biotic sea salt
1/2 cup of honey/rice malt/ maple syrup
optional: Fudge topping: walnuts, goji berries, coconut chips, cacao nibs, inca berries.
Method
1. Place the walnuts into the food processor, process until a fine crumb
2. Add in remaining ingredients and process until smooth. you can add a tiny splash of coconut cream if you have some open.
3. In a lined baking tray or bread tin, place the fudge mixture into the lined tray and pop into the fridge (or freezer) overnight. Here pop your fudge topping on, pushing the ingredients into the fudge
4. With a warm knife, slice the fudge into small squares 2 cm x 4 cm long is a nice treat size.
5. Keep in the fridge until ready to enjoy
