Awakening Into Flow – Sense Of Self Kinesiology

WORDS: CLAIR CHANNING | Kinesology

Hello lovely community,

Spring has arrived, the season of renewal, fresh beginnings, and expansion. After the stillness and inward focus of winter, Spring invites us to stretch outwards again. Nature bursts back to life with blossoms, longer days, and new growth. And just like the earth, our bodies and minds also respond to this seasonal shift.

What Spring Brings in a Mind-Body Lens
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Spring is connected to the Wood Element and the Liver and Gallbladder meridians. These energies are all about movement, vision, and growth. When in balance, they help us feel:

  • Clear in our direction
  • Motivated to take action
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Creative and inspired

But when Wood is out of balance, we may notice:

  • Frustration or irritability
  • Feeling stuck or indecisive
  • Digestive or tension issues
  • A sense of “pushing forward” but burning out

Interestingly, many of my clients in clinic over the past week have all presented with imbalances in the Liver and Gallbladder meridians. This is such a clear reflection of how strongly we’re connected to the seasons, our bodies naturally mirror the shifts happening in nature.

How Kinesiology Can Support You This Spring
Kinesiology works by gently identifying where your energy, emotions, or beliefs are blocked and creating balance so you can move forward with ease. In Spring, this often means:

  • Releasing old frustration and clearing “stuck” energy
  • Supporting the nervous system to shift from tension into flow
  • Resetting patterns around decision-making and direction
  • Anchoring new beliefs like “It’s safe for me to grow,” or “I can move forward with clarity and ease”
  • Helping your body feel flexible, not just physically but emotionally too

An Invitation to Reset
Spring is the perfect time to clear away what no longer serves you and plant new seeds for what you want to grow in your health, your relationships, and your life.

If you’ve been feeling stuck, frustrated, or low in energy, a kinesiology balance can help restore flow and reconnect you to your vision for the months ahead.

With care,
Clair Channing
